یہ شعر علامہ محمد اقبال کا ہے، ان کی نظم «ہمدردی» سے، بانگ درا (اشاعت دوم) (1926)، ص 21۔This couplet is by Allama Muhammad Iqbal, from the nazm “hamdardi”, Bang-e-Dra (second printing) (1926), p. 21. It means: Do not worry that the night is dark, the firefly says; I will light up the path for you. The bird's problem is solved by a small creature's gift.
