apne hi dil ke haath ab main bik gayaa hoon akbarsar mein nahin rahaa woh saudaa-e-khud-faroshi

  • بک گیا bik gayaaفروخت ہو گیا (have been sold)
  • سودائے خود فروشی saudaa-e-khud-faroshiخود کو بیچنے کا جنون (the mad urge to sell oneself)

In plain English

Akbar says he has now sold himself only to his own heart; the craze for selling himself to others has left his head. “Selling oneself” is his favourite image for chasing rank and favour from the powerful. Here he declares that he now answers only to his own conscience.
